When your material skips something
Bioaccumulation
Your notes list it as being on the test, but never say what it is.
Bioaccumulation is the gradual buildup of a substance inside an organism over time — it happens when the organism takes the substance in faster than it can get rid of it.
Written by Cramlio, not taken from your material. Check it against your book if it’s going to be graded.

Not every page matters equally. Topics are ranked by how heavily your material covers them, so the first thing you study is the one most likely to count.

It shows its work
Every point names the page or slide it came from. When Cramlio explains something your material didn’t, it says so.
Straight answers
What can I upload?
PDFs, PowerPoint files, Word documents, and text you paste in directly. Slides, handouts and study guides work especially well, because they’re already close to what your teacher thinks matters.
Photos of handwritten notes aren’t supported yet — Cramlio reads text, not images.
Is this for middle school, high school or college?
All three. Cramlio works from whatever material you give it, so the reading level of your study guide follows the reading level of your class.
What matters isn’t your grade — it’s whether the test is mostly about knowing things: terms, concepts, processes, dates, definitions. If your studying is mostly problem sets or essay writing, it’s less useful right now.
Does it actually use my material, or just general knowledge?
Your material comes first. Everything in your pack is built from the files you gave it, and each point references the page or slide it came from so you can check it.
When your material names a concept but never explains it, Cramlio explains it for you — and labels that part as its own explanation, not something from your class.
Is this a homework solver?
No. Cramlio is for studying — organizing material, practicing recall and finding what you don’t know. It isn’t built to complete graded assignments, write essays or answer questions during a test, and we’re not planning to add that.
Check your school’s own policy on AI tools too — those vary.
Can Cramlio get things wrong?
Yes. Cramlio builds your study pack from the material you provide, and it can still make mistakes. That’s why every point names its source — so anything that looks off is quick to check against your own notes.
It also can’t tell you what will definitely be on your test. Nothing can.
Is it free right now?
Yes — Cramlio is free during the beta. There’ll be a paid plan later for students who want a lot of study packs, and we’ll tell you before anything changes.
What happens to my files?
Your uploads are used to build your study pack and nothing else. You’ll be able to delete a pack, or your whole account, whenever you want.
